Ish'tar

Crown Jewel of Summastris and Seat of the Cazzaris Concorde, Ish'tar is among the oldest continuously inhabited planets in the Sar-An, and serves as a cultural and political superpower throughout the stars. It is said that it is the garden of the ancients, wherefrom all life in the Sar-An dispersed to the stars.

The Five Bastions represent the cultural and political subdivisions of Ish'tar, and each sends one representative to the Ukkin Council:

- Zamarad, Emerald of the Bazsch-Yatt

- Babylon, the Great Marsh, Birthing Place of the Cazzaris Concorde

- Isrenbyothe, the Living Glacier, Capital City of the Saiatjana

- The Free Port of Serai, the Floating City

- Waira, the High Port, Capital City of Gaalyos

Religion

Main article: the Weave-faith

The primary religion upon Ish'tar is by far the nature-reverent Weave-faith, in part due to religious persecution of those who worship the Old Gods of Summastris or other deities. The Ishtarrans have a wary distrust of other religions and their adherents due to an apocryphal history of deicidal war. As such, the Dengir of the Ishtarrans are distant, formless entities, more akin to general concepts than corporeal beings.
